Skate Australia Victoria Speed (SAVS), would like to invite all interested Junior Skaters (6 – 16 years) to attend a FREE skate clinic during the April School Holidays on Monday 8 April 2024. The clinic will cover everything about racing and is intended to help all levels of skaters who are at Development or Competitive level and least enrolled in beginner speed classes or have completed learn to skate classes If your child is attending a Skate Class and is not a Development member, please speak to your coach or club representative to determine if this is an appropriate day for your child.
Run by Skate Australia accredited coaches Brad Payne, Les Barnes and Jamez Ke will lead the coaching team, assisted by Wouter Oosthuizen and Jack Barnes. .Additionally, several of our skilled Junior Coaches and Senior Skaters will provide support. As high performance skaters you will be able to learn in groups of similar ability, and will have the opportunity to receive individual coaching advice. The aim of the day is to have fun, and of course – to improve on those skills!
Also, SAVS and club representatives will be on hand during the day to answer any questions you may have about speed skating in general.
