Registrations for this event are closed.

The Championships are open to skaters from all Skate Australia Limited affiliated State Associations as well as countries affiliated to World Skate. Approval letter from national federations for international skaters must accompany nominations.

Competition Dates: 14 to 19 January 2024

Training: Sunday 14 January 2024

Road Competition: Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 January 2024

Rain Day: Wednesday 17 January 2024

Flat Track Competition: Thursday 18 January 2024

Marathon Competition: Friday 19 January 2024

Venues:

The ROAD competition venue is located, Jamieson Park Netball Courts, York Road, Penrith, NSW 2750. Circuit dimensions and course diagram to be confirmed. Speed Officials and Speed Technical Meeting will be held at this venue on Sunday 14 January 2024 between 3:00 - 5:00 pm. State Team Road Training times will be advised after nominations close.

The FLAT TRACK competition venue is Whitlam Leisure Centre, 90A Memorial Avenue, Liverpool NSW. Please note: a wheel testing opportunity will be arranged by the Skate Australia Speed TC and Skate NSW, no private bookings will be accepted by the venue. Cost to be advised.

MARATHON venue to be confirmed. A tentative booking is currently held at the Narellan Criterium Circuit.

Nomination Fees:

AUD $225.00 (incl GST) for all events in ALL categories (Road, Flat Track and Marathon)

AUD $150.00 (incl GST) or all ROAD events ONLY (includes Marathon)

AUD $85.00 (incl GST) for MARATHON event ONLY

AUD $100.00 (incl GST) for all TRACK events ONLY (does not include Marathon)

Relay registrations and nomination fees will be handled separately.

SPORT INTEGRITY AUSTRALIA – ANTI DOPING eLEARNING REQUIREMENTS 

Skate Australia works closely with Sport Integrity Australia, the national agency established to protect sport against integrity and anti-doping threats. For more information visit the Sport Integrity Australia website. 

All competitors twelve (12) years of age and older who compete in a National Championship event mustcomplete at a minimum, Anti-Doping Fundamentals (formerly Level 1), Annual Update 2024 (formerly Level 2) and Competition Manipulation & Sports Betting.  

For competitors under the age of twelve (12), Clean Sport 101 completed in conjunction with their parent/guardian is advisable.

International competitors should provide an up-to-date certificate from their Country’s Anti-Doping Agency or from WADA on arrival at the competition

International Selection:

Viewing fees for selection in the Australian teams for the Oceania Speed Championships 2024 and World Skate Games Championships 2024 will be $50 for each selection. Selection is open to ages Cadet and older. 

Please refer to your Club Coaches if you should be selecting for Oceanias and Worlds.

Other:

a) Each person nominated in a State Team must be a bona fide resident of Australia or its possessions by the 31 of December 2023. They must have lived in Australia for at least six (6) months prior to 31 December 2023.

b) The competitor age is the age of the skater on the 31 December in the year of competition.

c) The competitor must be a current member of SAVS and Skate Australia prior to the competition.  This means you must renew your 2024 membership as a matter of priority.  Registrations for FY2024 membership will open up after 5th December 2024
