Windsurfing is an awesome skill to learn in addition to your sailing skills! - This is a members only course

Windsurfing lessons are where it all begins. In these lessons, you'll discover how to use the wind's power to move on the water while balancing on a board. Instructors will teach you the right stance, how to handle the sail, and how to steer. With each lesson, you'll get better, gain confidence, and start enjoying the thrill of windsurfing. This is a great start if you are interested in foil windsurfing or wing foiling in the future! Minimum age of 10, capped at 6 people per course!

Lessons will be run using the SBSC windsurfers.

Program Focus:

Following the structure and instruction in learn-to-sail programs. Green Fleet is an introduction to coaching and learning to train.

Green Fleet promotes practicing the fundamental skills of sailing, introduces some foundation race skills through training activities in an environment that is enjoyable, without a competition focus.

During the Program sailors are encouraged to take part in freesail activity, and to trial a variety of boats, boards, and other club related activity through age appropriate design.
