The Northern Territory Women's Regatta
The Northern Territory Women’s Regatta is designed to develop women’s sailing skills and to promote and increase awareness of women is sailing . This annual regatta assists female sailors to improve racing skills, leadership and decision-making and to challenge themselves to compete with like minded women. They aim to create friendships and to ensure all competitors and volunteers sailing experiences at Darwin Sailing Club, it is not only educational but fun and rewarding.
This is the 4th Annual NT Women’s Regatta, with last year’s event being a huge success. The NTWR is all about celebrating, promoting and encouraging women in sailing, providing this regatta as an opportunity for women and girls to build skill sets in a supportive community. RSYS members Sophie Hunt, Rhian Hughes, Danielle Gerace and Natasha Miller are competing in the Women’s Regatta, from Thursday 10 August to Sunday 13 August.
