With a history dating back to at least 1905, the Speers Point Amateur Sailing Club (SPASC) is located at the northern end of the renowned Lake Macquarie in New South Wales and is one of only three clubs from around Australia selected to host members of the Australian SailGP team – including local Olympian Nathan Outteridge – when they visit our shores this February.

The Kingston Beach Sailing Club (KBSC) is a small volunteer run off the beach club located at the southern end of Kingston Beach at the mouth of the Derwent River, Hobart, Tasmania. The club boasts some of the best sailing in Australia with views to match.

Gippsland Lakes Yacht Club is a volunteer run club in Victoria's far east with a strong focus on engaging with their local community.

Sheltered from all but the most sever of artic wind and waves Geographe Bay makes an ideal location for sailing in semi protected waters. Famous for its 1.8km long Jetty, Busselton and the Geographe Bay Yacht Club (GBYC) are steeped in history.

Established in 1963, Tinaroo Sailing Club (TSC) is located on the picturesque freshwater Lake Tinaroo in Far North Queensland.  The TSC is very family orientated club, with many second and third generations all enjoying sailing together. 

Situated on the foreshore of the Swan River at Nedlands, with wide grassy lawns and sandy beaches, Nedlands Yacht Club in WA is the perfect location for sailing.

Hunters Hill Sailing Club (HHSC) was established in 1961 as the HH Junior Sailing Club and moved to its current location on the foreshore in Woolwich in 1971. Over the years its membership has waxed and waned, but the Club has remained fantastically resilient.

Gosford Sailing Club is located on the North Eastern foreshore of Brisbane Waters at 28 Masons Parade Gosford. Brisbane Waters are fed by the Hawkesbury River with its entrance opposite the Pittwater which is to the South. GSC is also home to World Champion sailor and Olympic Gold Medalist Tom Slingsby.

SSCBC’s origins date back to 1948 and they are proud of our journey over the past 70 years or so. One aspect of the Club that is incredibly important is the iconic Couta boats. Couta boats were traditionally used as fishing vessels to catch barracouta along the coast of Bass Strait.

The club was founded in 1911 and remains the oldest off-the-beach sailing club in South Australia.

The Townsville Sailing Club is one of the oldest clubs in Townsville and one of the oldest sailing clubs in Queensland.

The Club traces its beginnings to the 1921/22 sailing season when a number of members of the Delwood Canoe Club decided to band together and conducted sailing races on Sunday afternoons.
