The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club (RPAYC) is renowned as one of Australia’s leading yacht clubs, boasting a rich 157 year history and a vibrant community. We are dedicated to promoting sailing for life and fostering a fun, friendly, and safe environment for all ages to enjoy this exhilarating sport.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Head Sailing Coach to lead and develop our year-round training program. This pivotal role focuses on attracting and retaining new sailors while supporting those who wish to enhance their skills. The RPAYC offers a comprehensive racing and regatta program, featuring a variety of offthe-
beach classes, sports boats, keelboat classes, racing and cruising yachts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT: Design and implement innovative training programs that cater to a wide range of sailing needs, encouraging participation across junior, youth, and adult levels.

LEADERSHIP: Support the training and development of instructors, ensuring high-quality instruction aligned with Australian Sailing guidelines and ratios.

AMBASSADOR: Act as a key representative of the club, promoting RPAYC's ethos and maintaining our reputation as a leading sailing club locally and nationally.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: Engage with members and the wider sailing community to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment.
