SAILING INSTRUCTORS WANTED

 Do you have experience sailing or racing dinghies or keelboats?  Are you looking for the opportunity to work around study or take on an additional challenge and get on the water more this Spring / Summer?  Join our experienced team based at the CYCA since 1980, we teach Sailing, Safety and Fun.

KEELBOAT INSTRUCTORS

If you have sailed or raced dinghies or keelboats and have great people skills, you will be an ideal Sailing Instructor. We assist with any additional training prior to you being accessed for your Keelboat Instructors Qualification.

Instruction is on Sydney Harbour as per Australian Sailing guidelines. Lessons are conducted in three-hour sessions with between 2-4 students.  Additional maintenance work and attendance at social and theory nights work is also available.

GENERAL

Work is mainly on weekends, this role is a casual position paid at a competitive hourly rate. Hours and a roster will be agreed with the successful candidate.

Options for further training and development in the RYA program is offered at cost.

Pre-requisites:

• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current NSW Boat Licence
• Working with Children Certificate
