General Manager - Tasmania Monthly Update July 2023

Published Fri 14 Jul 2023

Last month, we spent considerable time reviewing the Discover Sailing Centres and completing our visits to all the Tassie sailing clubs. It was been wonderful meeting so many different people from the various clubs and learning about what the different clubs need to help them continue to provide opportunities for people to learn to sail. Last weekend, we held two Official’s Information sessions, one at Mersey Yacht Club and the other at Montrose Bay Yacht Club, to share information about the different courses that AS offers. I would personally like to thank volunteers Nick Hutton and Jonathan Rees, for giving up their time to talk at these workshops and answer questions from interested people.

As clubs are now organising their calendars for the next season, please can you ensure that the following information is considered and included in your club calendars. Any of the information below can be copied into your club newsletters to be shared with your members so that they know what sailing is happening in Tasmania.

Please promote the Australian Sailing – Tasmania Facebook page, as this also includes all the up to date AS News, both Nationally and State.
