With the Sailing Season in full swing, we are all busy implementing programs, running races, and generally living sailing. This is the perfect time to get in contact with Australian Sailing to see how we can support you.
At the recent Australian Sailing Awards at the Maritime Museum in Sydney, South Australia was proud to be well represented by our national finalists Sarah Cooper (Volunteer of the Year), Brett Yardley (Sports Professional Award), Madeline Salter (Coach of the Year), Cruising Yacht Club of SA (Club of the Year Cat A) SheSails Award (SAWKR Committee) Sport Promotion Award (Dockside Festival).
Congratulations to all finalists, and we are pleased to announce the National Winner in the Australian Sailing Awards, Sarah Cooper from Henley Sailing Club, as Volunteer of the Year and celebrate South Australian David Tillet being inducted as a life member of Australian Sailing. Thank you to all the people who travelled interstate and helped celebrate sailing in Australia.

Discover Sailing Month is NOVEMBER
Discover Sailing Day has been a mainstay of the sailing calendar for many years. This year, Australian Sailing will be promoting Discover Sailing Days throughout November.
There is still time to put your discover sailing day together.

Game Plan for Clubs - GAME PLAN is a self-assessment tool for clubs and class associations to review all aspects of your organisation and provide an improvement plan with links to resources and templates. Game Plan is provided in partnership with the Australian Sports Commission. This is a great place to start if your club is looking forward to new opportunities. It is neatly set out in areas so that one person doesn’t have to complete the whole program.

Australian Sailing Pulse Survey - Your opinion matters!
The Pulse Survey is your opportunity to provide live feedback as and when you desire. The responses will be checked regularly and a summary provided direct to the AS Senior Leadership Team and Board of Directors - Complete the Survey
Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing – ACTIVE CLUB GRANT is Open
Active Club Program
Providing funding support to active recreation and sports clubs to further develop the programs and services they provide within the South Australian community. Grants of either $1,500 or $3,000 will be available for each applicant based on the membership of the club.

Australian Sports Commission Volunteer Resources
A one-stop-shop, designed to bring together useful resources, tools and practical tips and tricks in one place. These resources will assist you to attract, retain and celebrate volunteers at the heart of your club and community sport more broadly.
AS Course in South Australia – New courses will be organised soon for 2024 and promoted to all clubs.
We have dinghy, keelboat, windsurfing, powerboat instructor and sailing coach course.

e-Learning Courses
The Australian Sailing myLearning portal has a catalogue of free and useful online courses created by Australian Sailing and Sport Integrity Australia that could benefit clubs, members, volunteers, administrators and instructors.

How to access the e-learning platform once landed on the login page:
- Existing Users: enter your email address and password. If you don't remember your password, click on 'Forgot your password?' to receive a password reset email (check your junk folder too).
- New Users: click on 'Register' and type your information in the sign up fields. Your login credentials will be sent to you via email. Use them to access online courses in the future.
Note that the e-learning platform logins are different from the revSPORT ones. If you require technical assistance, please contact training@sailing.org.au.

Not Receiving Official AS Communications?
When Flag Officers change roles your club account details need to be updated, without key contact details, Australian Sailing cannot contact the right people.
