Club Conference Webinars to Resume in 2021
Australian Sailing’s online Club Conference webinars are set to begin next Thursday the 10th June. A series of three webinars will be streamed nationally on consecutive Thursday nights in addition to the in-person conferences being held in each state.
Thursday 10th June: Club Sailing Pathways
Australian Sailing’s National Pathway Lead; Sarah Ogilvie will provide an update on her work within building Club Sailing Pathways to facilitate retention and participation options for sailing participation and growth. Ashley Brunning; Australian Sailing’s National Performance Pathway Manager, will provide an update regarding performance pathways within sailing.
Thursday 17th June: Club Insurance with Network Steadfast
Joel from Network Steadfast will provide information regarding club insurance options and background into various insurance alternatives for clubs, boats, members, instructors etc.
Thursday 24th June: New Racing Rules of Sailing
Chair of the Victorian Racing Rules Officials Committee, Darren Eager will provide a presentation on the updated Racing Rules of Sailing. World Sailing’s updated Racing Rules of Sailing came into effect on 1st January 2021 and will govern the sport for 4 years; until December 31st 2024.
Each webinar will feature a Q&A session to end the event, so be sure to join live and make the most of the event. Each webinar will be recorded and posted to the Australian Sailing website in the days following.
