International funding has been secured to bring a trainer to Australia to run a FIRS rules technical clinic in Brisbane.

Everyone is welcome (i.e. all adults and competent Junior members from 15yo) .

Non-members registration fee includes once-only event fee.

To be eligible for selection for the Australian Women's Roller Derby team for the World Roller Games 2017, you must attend this clinic.

There are on-rink sessions and all attendees must bring all skating equipment, including skates, safety equipment, etc

Schedule

Day 1 Saturday 17 June 2017 at Eagles Sports Stadium, Weedon St, Mt Gravatt

Registration at 10am

Clinic will run from 10.30am to 5pm

Day 2 Sunday 18 June 2017 at Digiskate, Hillcrest top rink, Starts 8am to 4pm

Please note:

• To keep costs down, only light refreshments will be provided (Coffee, tea, biscuits, water)
• BYO food and sustenance
• Selection testing of prospective Australian team representatives will be held during the clinic. If you are successful in being selected for the Australian team, you are required to be registered as a Roller Derby Competitive member.
• As part of your registration we ask you about your roller derby experience. Please provide as much information as possible. If the space provided is insufficient, please email more information to admin@skateaustralia.org.au.
• This is a FIRS sanctioned event.
