DESTINATION: TARANNA BOAT CLUB
Captain Bigsea and the Beaver Boys look forward to your company when they go navigating to Norfolk Bay for the 65th running of “The Trial”
Starting from RYCT at 1900hrs the Friday night stage will be held within the confines of the Derwent River and should be completed by 2130hrs.
Participants will then be required to make their way to Sloping Island where the Saturday morning stage will begin.
Saturday morning and afternoon stages will be held in Norfolk Bay with the cruise finishing in the vicinity of Taranna.
The Saturday evening function will be hosted by the Taranna Boat Club (TBC) where results will be announced.
On the way home on Sunday a social gathering will be held in a convenient anchorage.
The organisers plan to further promote the event through more direct contact with potential participants and control boat skippers closer to the actual event.

NOTE TO NAVIGATORS: Exercises have been designed to be within the capabilities of most navigators. There is a prize for the highest placed first time (Novice) Navigator.
