A combination of practical and theory, the course covers all the material required to sit and pass the MAST Recreational Motor Boat License examination. 

At the successful completion of the exam, and going to Service Tasmania to pay for their licence. Candidates are qualified to operate a motor boat within the restrictions placed on recreational motor boat operators.

A Provisional License is available for children aged between 12 and 17 years of age.

MAST now require proof of identity driver licence with current address or 3 other forms of identity.
