Ever thought of being an umpire? 

Umpires have the best seat in the house and let's be honest, without umpires we dont have softball! Anyone can become an umpire and it is never too late to start.

PATHWAY FOR UMPIRING 

Do you know that there are 8 levels of Umpires from Local through to International Umpires.

Level 1 - Local Association

 This level is awarded when an umpire completes a number of elements including:

Levels 2-4: State

Involves attending the relevant Softball NSW Umpiring clinic, passing a rules assessment and a practical assessment at State Championships.

Levels 5-6: National

Involves passing a rules assessment and a practical assessment at National Championships.

Levels 7-8: International

Awarded by the Softball Australia National Umpiring Program (Softball Australia NUP).

Obtain a Working with Children Check

Save the certificate after completion.

Did you know that CCSA has its very own Level 6 Umpire? Did you know that he runs regular sessions for those who want to know the basics through to those who want to gain their accreditation.
