SEASON COMPETITION CALENDAR

Our season competition dates are set and you can find our calendar at https://www.revolutionise.com.au/ruralathleticscentre/events/list. The first meets before the Easter break are:

Meet 1 Saturday 29 March

Meet 2 Saturday 5 April

Meet 3 Saturday 12 April

For meets at Freds Pass, the first events of the day for the 6 years+ age groups start at 8.30am, so we recommend arriving by 8.10am for warm-up.

Potential new members can attend Saturday competition as a Come & Try. Pre-register at https://www.revolutionise.com.au/ruralathleticscentre/events/288684

Please wear closed in shoes (runners best), suitable clothing for athletic activity and bring a hat, water bottle and sunscreen.

TRAINING SESSIONS FOR 6 YEARS+

Training is on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5pm. Sessions are not compulsory, however we do recommend attending at least one session a week to allow you to gain competency and confidence in the various track and field events.

6-7 years: Coach Jo (45min session)

8-9 years: Coach Belinda (45-60min session)

10 years+: Coach Cameron and Coach Gayle, with support from club officials and experienced members

Distance runners: Coach Jo

Returning members MUST renew their club registration before taking part in any session. If you have attended at least 2 of our Come & Try’s, we ask that you also register for the club before attending any further sessions. Go to our website and to the Registration tab.

Potential new members can attend training as a Come & Try. Pre-register at https://www.revolutionise.com.au/ruralathleticscentre/events/288673

TINY TOTS SESSION

At this point in time, Tiny Tots sessions will only be on Saturday mornings when we have a RAC meet at Freds Pass Reserve. The activities will run from 9.00-9.30/9.45am session -  length will depend on how much fun we are having!

We would like to also have a session on Wednesday afternoons as well but we do not currently have the coach capacity.

To this end, we would like to ask if there are any members or parents that would be keen to run a Wednesday session. You will need to obtain an Ochre card if you don’t already have (we will assist with this) and complete the online Community Coaching - Essential Skills course. We will provide you with activity resources and ideas and be there to support if any issues . Please see Jo if you are interested.
