Course information
Get your Teen off their screen and out on the water these holidays with our Teen Discover Keelboat Camps!
The OutThere Keelboat camps have been designed for 13 – 18 year olds with a focus on having fun on the water with friends. These four day camps are run every school holiday and will provide your sailor with the skills both to crew and skipper on our fleet of Elliott 7s keelboats, as well as some fun powerboating and paddleboarding experiences along the way.
There are three levels within the OutThere Keelboat program, and each program provides fun challenges for sailors that will further develop their sailing skills. So whether you've never stepped on a boat before or are a dinghy sailor wanting to try Keelboats, OutThere is a perfect introduction.
Sailors who have completed the OutThere Sailing levels, or active teen dinghy and keelboat sailors looking to take their sailing to the next level, can progress to our Keelboat Performance and Transition Camps. The Performance Camp continues the focus of fun on the water with friends whilst introducing sailors to keelboat racing with symmetrical spinnakers. The Transition Camp builds on the skills learned in the Performance Camp and prepares sailors to participate in the Squadron Keelboat Program.
