The Green Fleet Squad is targeted at sailors aged 8-15 years old, who have recently completed the Sunday Tackers program and are looking for a fun introduction to racing. Sailors are expected to have a good grasp of the fundamentals of sailing, competent boat handling skills, ability to rig their own dinghy and an understanding of the basic racing rules.

On-water sessions will focus on developing an intermediate standard of boat handling skills in the Optimist and develop an understanding of race strategy.

For sailors wishing to achieve advanced level skills and compete in State, National and International regattas we recommend committing to the full-time program consisting of three on-water training session Sunday, Tuesday afternoon and Thursday afternoon. 

Sailors need to be Youth Members or have a current RSYS Sail Pass to be a part of the program. 

If you are a parent registering for your child, you MUST register with your child's details not your own.
