At the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron, Ladies of the Sea Program has been developed as a Women ONLY course aimed at providing a supportive environment for you learn the ropes. The courses are conducted on our exciting fleet of Elliott 7m Keelboats and taught by accredited Australian Sailing Instructors. Our keelboats allow you to learn to sail without the fear of capsizing and onboard with several other people learning alongside you. Learning to sail in a self-righting keelboat provides a learning platform that is stable yet responsive.

Our Skill Building Courses are designed for those who wish to practice a bit more before moving onto the next level or even just get some more time on the water. It is expected you have at least completed Start Crewing before joining our skill building courses.
