Welcome our new YS High Performance Training run by Head Coach Adrian! We're excited to kick start the term with you all!

As this is our first term of a new program it will only be for the 29er, ILCA and Open Opti fleets.

Training will resume on Wednesday 2nd October 2024, with specific start dates outlined in the fleet training schedule. Please take note that not all fleets start on the same day!

Cost:

Opti Open and ILCA: $275

29er: $200 Per Person

Training days:

Wednesday starting on the 2nd of October, 1600-1800 hrs: Opti Open

Thursdays starting on the 3rd of October, 1600-1800 hrs: ILCA 4 and ILCA 6

Fridays starting on the 4th of October, 1600-1800 hrs:  29ers

There will be no training on the following dates: 9th to the 13th October

Please Note:

• Please ensure that BOTH the skipper and crew register for the 29er fleet.
• It's important to note that each class has a minimum attendance requirement. If this requirement isn't met, we may be unable to go ahead with the term training
• In the case that weather conditions aren't suitable for on-water activities, we'll conduct theory sessions.
• To participate in this training, you need to be a junior member of RQYS.

We ask all participating sailors to take part in RQYS Club Racing, as it's importaint to gain experience through time on water amoungst other boats. Please ensure you are taking part along with participating in your class nationals and state regatta’s.
