Welcome back to RQ Youth Squad Training and welcome to new members! Training will recommence on the week of the 2nd October 2023, refer to fleet training scheduals for individual start dates. 

For this term you have the following options:

- Weekday sessions ONLY (8 Sessions)

- Saturday sessions ONLY (8 Sessions)

- Weekday AND Saturday sessions (16 Sessions)

 

Please join Stack Team App (RQYS Youth Squad) in your appropriate fleet so our coaches can send notices and information and we can keep you updated.

We ask that all sailors boats are rigged, and sailors are dressed in sailing gear ready to go prior to the start of the session time, either 0830 or 1600 hrs.

 

Training Days

Thurday starting on the 5th of October, 1600-1800 hrs: ILCA 4, ILCA 6, 29R

Friday starting on the 6th of October, 1600-1800 hrs: Optis (Green, Inter, Open), RS Quest, Windsurfers

Saturday starting on the 7th of October, 0830-1130 hrs: ALL FLEETS

 

Please ensure that BOTH the skipper and crew register for 2 handed boats

 

We will not be having casual entries for the term.

Please note a minimum of 4 boats is required per fleet for an allocated coach otherwise the fleet will train with another group.

If the weather conditions are not suitable to go on water a theory session will take place.

Please note: to be part of this training you are required to be a junior member of RQYS.
