Welcome back to RQ Youth Squad Training and welcome to new members!  Training will recommence on 22nd April, Term 2. 

Please join Stack Team App (RQYS Youth Squad) in your appropriate fleet so our coaches can send notices and information and we can keep you updated.

We ask that all sailors boats are rigged and sailors are dressed in sailing gear ready to go by 8.30am.

Please note there will be no training on the 29th April and 6th May due to regattas.

Training Days

Saturday morning for ALL fleets Except Windsurfing

Saturday afternoon for Green Fleet Windsurfing - 1230 - 1530hrs

 

Please ensure that BOTH the skipper and crew regester for 2 handed boats

 

We will not be having casual entries for the term.  

If the weather conditions are not suitable to go on water a theory session will take place.

Please note: to be part of this training you are required to be a junior member of RQYS.

Program Focus:

The Intermediate Fleet Program includes scheduled and regular coaching. Allowing you to practice and race in club and class association programs at clubs.

At Intermediate Fleet level you may remain active- for-life, and enjoy lifelong activity which can cross multiple disciplines, and class of boat or board. 

During the Intermediate Fleet Program, there is continued freesail opportunity to support further enjoyment in the sport and environment.
