The first race rounds of 2019 were defined by the festive period, with summer hear we found our pilots alot more relaxed than previous rounds. RSVP’s were slow though on the day pilots banter and conversations catching up on life’s event dominated the usual technical talk.

Evan“shufty” and Sharon ‘blondeangel” kept Livetime ticking along after a forgetful shufty forgot the essential equipment at home😂. Cheers to blondeangel and frosty snr (rob) for handling the food and drink.
Early risers Glenn “mr_g”, Cody “steel” and Terrence “T” for the setup and the wise decision on pvc gates in the tough sections of the “penny” track which featured a number of cyclone like turns just like the tropical cyclone on the east coast.

Matt was viciously tearing up the track, Jared “jdnoodle” was plagued by the tech gremlins. Thomas “pr_fpv” found consistency as the day progressed. Phil the newest addition to Pilot Class had a stellar day with his smooth lines in Rookie Days. Jdnoodle recovered from a series of crashes as he kept on Mitchell “fantum” finishing just 0.2 seconds behind him.

As we have waited and watched it finally happened, T took out
first place in the final. This could be a sign that 2019 is finally T time. Paul“pav” has been absent from his usual practice schedule thanks to mining gold. So it was frustrating to see him experience failsafes😖 throughout the day. We were happy to have James “wafflefpv” visit but thanks to dominating in the heats Wisdom took out top honours of the day.

We had new pilots Cody “miniwar”, Nathan “banshee”, “busta” and Azza join us feeding the appetites of those pilots without much stick time a real challenge. Today we saw blondeangel really push it, with a calm approach in the 42 degree🔥 day she ended the day in 2nd.
Most notable was the dominance of miniwar, who despite no race experience we realised a heavy freestyler he’s moving straight to Pilot class after taking out 1st of the day. Aaron “muzza” fell short of the final making way for Ben “hybrid”
Banshee got around the track and given only his first ever event is looking good for making the podium in the next few beginner days. busta had his rythym disrupted as he his enthusiasm was marred with VTX change issues 😖.
