Rotorcross Open 2023 is our first interstate open event, open to all MAAA members! There will be 2 days of 5" racing, nighttime Street League Spec racing, social buffet dinner/ drinks night and more! Join us for a fun filled event!

Entry cost is $80 and thanks to your feedback a customised ROX Open pilot shirt will be included in the entry cost!

What have we got planned for ROX Open?

• 5" open racing with livestream
•  DVR compatibility for Analog, HDZero, DJI (unfortunately not 03 due to limitations) and Walksnail ( currently DJI and Walksnail requiring plugin to our system, supplied)
• Saturday night Street League Spec racing
• Saturday night buffet dinner at Pickering Brook Sports Club (pilots to pay, cost TBA)
• did we mention we have access to a bar and a function hall onsite?
• TWO pilot pits- the event will be run in two brackets with the main pilot pits in the function hall with balcony to watch the racing
• possible breakfast delivery from the awesome cafe just down the road (their food and coffees are amazing! With vegan, lactose free and gluten free options available!)
• lunchtime sausage sizzle
• bar open during both days for drinks and snacks

If we have enough Eastern States pilots attending we may look at mini bus hire with pick up and drop off to the event on the Saturday and Sunday (cost shared between pilots using the service, local pickup/ drop off only). Friday nights there are meals at PBSC, so even your Friday night meal is easily sorted! We would recommend pilots stay in accomodation local to the area, there are heaps of air BnBs etc in Lesmurdie, Kalamunda and immediately around Pickering Brook. Alternatively if we do have enough pilots interested in the mini bus option, if you stay near the airport thats easy enough to pick up from as well! Any questions don't hesitate to ask!
