If you have contacted the Membership Secretary and wish to proceed to register your membership interest with Commercial Rowing, please proceed to the bottom of the page and complete the Personal Details boxes and submit your registration.
For all new members joining and current members renewing, we require all new and renewing members to read and understand the following to ensure we are all aware of the risks associated with rowing, and what we need to do as club members to reduce these risks.

- All new and re-newing members are requested to download the free Team App, search for ‘Commercial Rowing’ – this is an important means of communication within the club especially regarding safety messages and regatta notices. If you disable notifications, please check the site regularly for messages etc.
- If you have not attended the compulsory Induction Session (River Safety, club procedures are discussed) please contact membersecretary@commercialrowing.com as soon as possible to arrange attendance. (This applies to members who have joined in the last 4 ys). All new members are required to attend this session within 3 months of joining the club and you will be advised when the sesisons are scheduled.
#4 - Fire Evacuation Plan:
- The club maintains a Fire Evacuation Plan. You will need to have read this document and acknowledge that you are familiar with the fire evacuation procedures. It can be found here:
- Members are to ensure that they are familiar with the evacuation diagrams for the building that are located
- on the ground floor inside of the front wall of the middle bay to the right of the general-purpose bench, and;
- on the top floor wall between the men’s and women’s bathrooms.
- Members are to ensure that they are familiar with the evacuation assembly area.
For CURRENT members:
Membership renewals are due on the 1st of January each year.
- All Full members: Masters, Youth, Students, Apprentices. Students/apprentices must provide ongoing proof of full student / apprenticeship status.
- Coaches and coxes - must now have affiliation with RQ
- Associate members - non-rowing members who must have recreational affiliation with RQ
- Rowing (Competitive) = $1280 (inc. GST) (1-January through to 31-December)
- Rowing (Competitive Family ) = $1167.40 (inc. GST) (1-January through to 31-December)
- Rowing (Recreational) = $1170 (inc. GST) (1-January through to 31-December)
- Associate (Non Rowing) = $500(inc. GST) (1-January through to 31-December)
- Rowing Youth Program (Competitive) = $1300 (inc. GST) (1-January through to 31-December)
- Rowing (Uni Student/Apprentice- competitive) = $700 (inc. GST) (1-January through to 31-December)
- Rowing (Uni Student/Apprentice- recreational) = $600 (inc. GST) (1-January through to 31-December)
- Rowing (3 Months Introductory, Recreational) = $350 (inc. GST) (3 Month Period, Once Off for New Members)

This request for Membership renewal DOES NOT APPLY to:
- Members rowing from CRC and holding dual membership with another Club
- Introductory or temporary Members
- Learn to Row members.
- Seasonal School age rowers currently enrolled in the Youth Program.
What do you need to do?
- Click on RENEWAL button at bottom of this page
- Fill in your First Name, Surname and Date of Birth (Please ensure that these details are exactly the same as the last time registered)
- Update your personal details, choose your RQ membership category
- Do NOT finish before completing the following
- SCROLL DOWN and select the appropriate Club membership category and Private Boat Storage category if applicable
- You can pay on-line at the time of registration where the preferred method for payment is online payments via the link in the invoice
- Invoices may be sent to the nominated email address in your personal details so please ensure this is correct,
Online payments via credit card shall be required each year.

Membership renewal requires online renewal AND payment unless prior arrangements have been made with the Member Secretary.
