Roleystone Hockey Club will host its Annual General Meeting and get-together on 6pm Tuesday 15 March - contact us for address details. Should circumstances require, we will switch to a remote meeting, so please RSVP if you plan to attend.
It will be a great opportunity to come and meet new and old players and get excited about a new season! We hope everyone has been enjoying our social summer hockey. It's fantastic that we have some new faces who are enjoying getting to know everyone already.
Thank to you everyone who took the time to respond to our surveys on availability and communications. Unfortunately, based on the data from the survey, the committee has had to make the decision NOT to nominate a team in the midweek masters competition on turf. This is disappointing, but we simply did not have enough players to field a team. It was encouraging to have a high level of interest, however, so we will continue to keep building the club and try again next year.

We don't meet that often - in fact we are planning to streamline our processes so we should be very efficient this year! The more hands on deck, the easier all the jobs are. All positions will be up for nomination, so please consider if you would like to be our next President, Treasurer, Secretary (or any of the other roles listed below). You can also simply attend the meetings and provide advice and your thoughts. Contact us using the tab above if you are interested or would like to ask any questions about what any of the roles would involve. We are also looking for volunteers for a Junior Development Committee to meet maybe three times over the year to work on our junior development program.
Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills or boost your CV for job applications, as well as having more say on the way the club is run.
