Please register to attend Rockhampton to Yeppoon and ensure you read and accept the COVID-19 event waiver. Annual tradition with vaarius starting points depending on the distance you wanrt to run. Also need to car pool for a lift back to rockhampton or where ever you started after.

It is compulsory online registration, this event as we are working under Queensland Atheltics COVID Safe plan.

As this is a social event, so please go out of your way to run with other in the group. Faster runners are encouraged to loop back to slower runners as required.

Course details:-

• 4am Start Time from Corner of Norman Road and Yeppoon Road with stops for drink at the following location along Yeppoon Road:- 
• CP1 Seeonee park unmanned water refill station only.
• CP2 Cawarral road/ Yeppoon road intersection unmanned water refill station only - 5:15am
• CP3 Mt Jim Crow car park. If people would like to start from here as a shorter option, we should be at this point about 5:30am approx!!
• CP4 The Oaks service station. This will be a manned station with water and some food. If people would like to start from here we would be arrive a this point around 6:00am approx.
• CP5 The Boondola driving range. This will be a manned CP with water and Zooper Doppers - 6:30am
• CP6 The pineapple trail walking path turn off. The will be a manned CP with water and Zooper Doopers. 6:50am

We will finish at the Yeppoon Lagoon at the Yeppoon Main Beach. In past years many of us have stayed for a lovely swim and BBQ breakfast to welcome the New Year in. So let's not forget the Logistics.... How are you going to get your BBQ breakfast and some recovery gear down to Yeppoon and how are you going to get home or back to your car??? You might need to get some friends and family involved. Please remember that this is not a race, but it is a great social way to start the year with sore feet rather than a sore head!!
