Season preparations began with a fantastic junior skill session led by SWL Coach Luke.  The basics of hitting, trapping and passing were recapped, and taught for the first time to some new recruits.  SWL players were on hand to help out, and were given a run for their money by speedy juniors in some fun games. Every deserved their icy pole by the end of the session!

Next up came a competative game for SWL hosting Perth side YMCC for the second year in a row.  Scores were tight at half-time, but a string of late short corners left the visitors ahead 5-2.  Robins welcomed some new players to the ranks, as well as some juniors, who had a great first run for the team.  Lots to work on, but a promising start to the season.  Our pink breast cancer awareness shirts were kindly donated by Class 1 Orthodontics.
