A Marine Radio Operator VHF  Certificate of Proficiency is a prerequisite for all commercial qualifications. It is also required for all who use marine VHF  radios and is strongly recommended for others pursuing recreational maritime training.

This course is classroom-based.  Please familiarise yourself with the Australian Maritime College’s Handbook in the lead up to the start of the course.  You can do this by using the link below.
A hard copy will be given to you on the first night of the course. The course runs over two evenings 3 hours with the instructor followed by a 25 question exam.

You must be 16 years or older to complete this course.
