This is a 2-day course runs over consecutive weekends. The course needs a minimum of 3 to go ahead.

NOTE: Sailing is very weather dependent, training may need to be postponed at the last minute. We will attempt to contact you in advance but in some circumstances, we may not be able to make that call until we are at the club. You will be contacted via email and or SMS. If your course is cancelled due to weather we will look for an alternative date.

Course Overview
This course introduces participants to the basics of sailing on keelboats, including boat handling, safety and sailing theory.

Water confident.

Who should do this course?

This course is designed for participants who wish to begin sailing in a keelboat. Learn the basics, whilst staying relatively dry! All the equipment and gear will be provided by your accredited Discover Sailing Centre.

Course Outcome

You will gain your Start Crewing completion certificate.
