Terms Of Registration

All crew (including the skipper) must be financial members of an Australian Sailing affiliated club or have registered for an RMYCT SailPass (A SailPass can be obtained from the RMYCT website at Sailing / SailPass).
All prescribed fees or levies must be paid prior to competing in a race.
All entrants must provide a current Australian Sailing Safety Certificate Category 7 or higher with this entry form or via Email to Sailing@RMYCToronto.com.au or it must have previously been provide to RMYCT during the 2022/23 season.
All yachts must have adequate current Third Party Property Liability Insurance and Third Party Personal Liability Insurance cover of not less than $10,000,000 for any one incident. All insurance must be maintained during the period of racing. Proof of insurance currency must be provided with this entry form or via Email to Sailing@RMYCToronto.com.au or must have previously been provided to RMYCT during the 2022/23 season.

The person submitting this form:

Agrees to be bound by the 2021-2024 Racing Rules of Sailing (R.R.S.) of World Sailing, as amended, the prescriptions and special regulations of Australian Sailing , the ‘Notice of Race’, (except as altered by the Sailing Instructions), by the Sailing Instructions and by all other rules that govern the event and releases RMYCT of any claim or liability whatsoever from any harm or personal injury suffered by him or her, or by any person claiming through him of her, as a result of this event and further agrees that this indemnity extends to all Officers, Sponsors and Agents of RMYCT.
Acknowledges their obligation under RRS Fundamental Rule 3, which states: “The responsibility for a boat’s decision to participate in a race or to continue racing is hers alone”.
Agrees that RMYCT, their employees and volunteers may exchange information about them that includes the information provided to administer the entry into the event and to run their business and agrees that the name of the boat and crew nominated in the entry and the results may be used by RMYCT to publicise and promote activities at RMYCT and may be released to the press for public audience.
Agrees that all information may be disclosed to necessary stakeholders in emergent situations and when bound by law to do so.
Declares that all the details provided in this form are correct.
