Sandra Canniff was a pillar of the Pickleball Community from the beginning of PANSW and up to 2024 when she did not reapply for her position due to health reasons.

 

She dedicated her time, passion, and leadership to growing the sport at every level.

 

As President of the Riverwood Pickleball Club and President of Pickleball NSW, and an active member of Pickleball Australia, she worked tirelessly to organise and run tournaments, foster new clubs,and with her commitment to inclusivity and community spirit, ensured that everyone—regardless of age or ability—felt welcome on the court.

 

These qualities were installed into our Club history at Riverwood Pickleball Club which made us the friendly and supportive place it is today. 

 

Sandra’s impact on the sport and those who knew her will be felt for years to come, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her,playing, learning, and sharing the game with her.
