During 2018 the Riverland Hockey Association held the Australian Country Championships. This was the second time it has been hosted in the Riverland. We hosted mens and womens teams from all over Australia - WA, NSW, VIC, ADF, QLD and of course SA.

The Championships took place from August 3rd-11th on the new turf at Glassey Park.

Huge thank you on behalf of Riverland Hockey to our wonderful organising committee of Brett Stokes, Amanda Schubert, Vicki Schmidt, Dan Shawyer, Teresa Shawyer, Zak Arruzzolo and James Lange for all their efforts.

Thank you to all of our club volunteers that manned the grounds and canteen for the tournament.

Without volunteers none of this would have been possible!!!
