This Australian Sailing Start Crewing Course is the first step on the Keelboat pathway to introduce you to the basics of Keelboat sailing. The course is aimed at people with little or no sailing experience on a small responsive keelboat, giving participants the opportunity to learn about crewing a small yacht. Topics covered include, the basics of small boat handling, safety on water and sail theory. Upon completion you will gain an Australian Sailing Certificate - Start Crewing.
All courses are subject to minimum participation numbers and the RGYC Sailing Academy strictly abides by the Australian Sailing instructor/student ratios. Places are limited so we recommend registering early to avoid disappointment.
Please note, some flexibility with dates may be required. If a course date needs to be changed due to bad weather the reserve date will be notified asap.
