International Cadet Coaching Squads

International Cadet Coaching Squads is open to sailors in the Cadet or other youth double-handed classes.

Cost: $30.00 per boat / $15 per sailor
 

Parents are encouraged to get involved with junior club activities to support the growth and smooth running of these activities at RGYC. If you can volunteer to assist with the running of these programs, please contact the Sailing Office on 03 5229 3705.

Program Focus:

Following the structure and instruction in learn-to-sail programs. Green Fleet is an introduction to coaching and learning to train.

Green Fleet promotes practicing the fundamental skills of sailing, introduces some foundation race skills through training activities in an environment that is enjoyable, without a competition focus.

During the Program sailors are encouraged to take part in freesail activity, and to trial a variety of boats, boards, and other club related activity through age appropriate design.
