Preparations for the 2020-21 Sailing Season are well underway and we are hopeful that with your support of the Offshore, Keelboat and Dinghy/Junior fleets, we will receive a sufficient number of donations to ensure that all fleets have trophies allocated to each race day.
Your donation gives you an opportunity to name the trophy (e.g. The Smith Family Trophy) to be published in the Sailing Handbook. In addition, you may also choose to apply your donation to the 2021 Frostbite Series or the 2021 Dinghy Winter Series.
The individual trophy donation amount for Dinghy/Juniors is $50.00. The individual trophy donation for Keelboats and Offshore is $30.00.
For an amount of $1000, Corporate sponsors receive naming rights recognition on two race days as well as a company logo in the season handbook and on the Club website with a link through to the company website. On two chosen race days, corporate sponsors are invited to have a presence at the Club to promote their company brand and are also invited to attend and present the prizes on those dates. Corporate Sponsors may create a display or fly banners and flags to promote their brand and in addition will be mentioned in Club publications and social media channels during the week of their race days.
For those members not familiar with the system, a donation of your choice for the above amount(s) or, if you wish to donate more than one trophy, multiples of the above amount(s) contributes towards the trophies presented at each day’s results and the annual prize nights.
The individual trophy donation allows you to choose which racing day and to which fleet your donation benefits. The Corporate donation for Offshore and Keelboats allows you to choose which racing day your donation will be applied to, and encompasses trophies for all fleets sailing on that day. A Corporate donation applied to the Dinghy/Junior fleets will apply to two racing days of your choice for all fleets sailing on that day, doubling the exposure of your corporate donation.
You may choose to pay for your donation(s) through your member account or by credit card via the online form. If you choose to pay through your member account, the total of your donation amount will appear on your October statement.
