Notice to Skippers & Crew
- Skipper and crew must be members of RFBYC to participate.
- Groups will consist of up 20 participants.
- A 'Get in, sail and get out' mindset is encouraged. Where possible skipper and crew should dress at home and shower at home to minimise use of the Club's changerooms.
- Showers will be closed for use in the Main Clubhouse changerooms. Numbers will be limited to 10 people for male and 6 people for female changerooms at any given time.
- Yachts too small for safe social distancing may register so long as the skipper and crew currently reside in the same house.
- The number of crew on board will depend on the length and width of each boat and will be the responsibility of the owner to determine the number of crew.
- Owner/skipper must take responsibility to ensure crew on board meet the 1.5m social distancing requirement. This is also applicable for when walking on jetties.
- Owner/skipper must register their boat to participate on-line via RevSports and confirm names of crew on board plus their contact number. Boats who show up on the day without registering will not be allowed to participate.
- Owner/skipper to take responsibility to ensure equipment on board has been adequately cleaned (sanitised) and appropriate hygiene is followed at all times.
- No sharing of equipment.
- Registered boats will be notified of their group start time and other relevant details by 5:00pm Wednesday, 20 May.
- Closing date and time for registration for the Mid Week sail will be 5:00pm, Tuesday, 19 May.
- There will be no consistency points.

- The Club bar will be closed. Sailors are asked not to congregate on the upper lawn area or elsewhere on the Club grounds after sailing.
- Sailors and crew should not participate if they are unwell or have been in close contact with a known or suspected case of COVID 19.
Boats must be helmed by a financial Life, Special, Senior, Ordinary or Junior member of the Club unless otherwise approved by the Yachting Operations Office.
