Calling All Women!

Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club will be running Women's Keelboat Fleet racing training over February and March 2020.

The training will be facilitated by Senior Coach, Grant Alderson and will incorporate classroom and on water training. The boats used for the training will be Bakewell White 8m and Foundation 36 Keelboats. 

This training is designed for Club members to develop boat handling skills, teamwork and racing knowledge on Keelboats. As well as making new friends, having a lot of fun and building new skills. 

Women's training is for Youth and Adult Women and the skills learnt in the small Keelboats will provide further opportunities in the sport of sailing. Course content includes advanced fleet racing knowledge, valuable for any class of sailboat racing. 

Established teams are encouraged to participate. If you are not yet in a team, please register and we will find you a team to sail in. All participants will need to register as an individual. 

To participate in this training participants must have had at least two years sailing experience or have completed a Keelboat Spinnaker Course.
