The Recreational Skippers Ticket (RST) is a qualification based on a set of competencies that have been adopted by all government marine safety authorities in Australia to contribute and to promote:
- the safe use of waterways
- an awareness of boating safety
The assessment of these competencies if in two sections: theory and practical.
The minimum age to obtain an RST being 14 years. A person requires a RST if they are to be the skipper of a vessel powered by an engine of more than 6hp.
This course is the complete RST course with both training and assessment - it is aimed at youth participants during school holidays.
