Youth Pathway Development Clinic
6th, 7th and 8th July
9am-3pm
$150/sailor for 3 days
This clinic is aimed at junior sailors moving out of their junior class (Optimist, Open Skiff, etc) or transitioning from Orange Fleet into the youth classes (Laser, 420, 29er) in the next 6 months. There are 3 key goals in mind:
- Introduction to youth pathways and a chance to try new boats
- Develop foundational skills
- To have plenty of fun!
You will have the chance to sail with experienced sailors on a range of different boats and we will have guest speakers with information on what’s next in your sailing journey.

Who should do this course?
This is the perfect 'taster' for anyone who wants to discover sailing for the first time. This is the perfect introduction and can be the ideal way for you to begin your sailing journey, without having to commit to a full training course.
Course Outcome
Following the course, you will receive a completion certificate.
We recognise that some of our course participants are completing the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award and may be using sailing and/or club membership to complete one or more sections of The Award. To learn more, click here.
