The annual group sail to RYCV is a fun day out for all the family. It has become one of the highlights of the junior program for the past few years, and now this great event is open to all our Sunday program sailors!

Junior and youth members of the program and your family are all invited. We gather at upstairs RBYC members bar at 10am Sunday 7^th April, where families will be allocated to comfortable cruising yachts generously provided by members of the Cruising group of the club. We do a short sail across the bay to Royals for lunch at their lovely facilities. You can either BYO BBQ or buy a very reasonably priced lunch there and enjoy the social side of sailing. It is suggested you bring some nibbles and drinks for the trip over and back. It usually takes an hour to hour and a half to sail over and moor up. The return trip the same, all subject to weather of course.

There is no cost other than your own food and drinks. It is wise to bring some warm waterproof jackets etc just in case of a turn in weather. This is a great chance to introduce yourself to cruising sailing, other members and their families and enjoy a great day out.

We aim to be back at RBYC around 5pm.
