Junior Development Squad regatta preparation days are designed to give young sailors some knowledge and skills to be able to race at a Victorian Championship. The length of the training day reflects the longer days at the regatta. The training will focus on the skills needed to prepare with the RBYC team before the start, teamwork skills, be better equipped to start in clear air in big fleets and some basic racing skills for fleets. For those sailors who complete the regatta preparation days and enter the Victorian Optimist championship they will be presented with RBYC team caps and shirts.
