Course Outcome
Unlike the OutThere program, Youth Racing Squad is designed to facilitate ongoing learning and provide a more individualised progression pathway. Without the restrictions of tight curriculums and timelines, this group is designed to foster sailors into racing up to a state championship level. Sailors do not pass or fail this course but rather continue to get support tailored to the demands of racing.
It is our aim that after a few sessions in the youth racing squad, sailors will be competent enough to partake in the RBYC Sunday afternoon coaches racing and eventually confident enough to race as an RBYC race squad at regattas around the bay including the Stonehaven Cup.
