HUNTER REGION  Winter SERIES – Round 1

SATURDAY 23rd May 2021

Fearnley Dawes Athletic Track competition is back for the winter season. Three round will be held over the period May to August being this entry for 23rd May plus two further round will be held on the following dates -

Sunday 25th July 2021 - 10.00am - 2.00pm

Sunday 29th August 2021 - 10.00am - 2.00pm

ONLINE ENTRIES ONLY –

Ages: 6 to Masters
Time: Starts 2:00pm for approx. 4 hours
Cost: $5 for up to 5 events
Registrations Round 1 Open: Tuesday 11th May 2021
Register: There are two Registration / Entry types

2:00pm - 60m (age 6+) 2:.00pm - Discus (age 6+)
2:45pm - 150m (age 6+) 2:00pm - Open Long Jump
3.30pm - 300m (age 6+) 3.30pm - Open Discus 
4.15pm – 1500m (age 10+) 3.30pm - Long Jump (age 6+)
5.00pm - 3000m (age 13+)  




Rules

  • The competition shall be run to World Athletic rules
  • 1 false start rule shall apply to 13 years and above running events
  • Seeded Events will be conducted for all events Men and Women up to 800m
  • Athletes shall be seeded according to ability (if times submitted on entry)
  • Spikes worn must be max. of 5mm in length
  • Age restrictions will apply to appropriate events
  • ​Mixed events for events over 1500,m +  ​
  • All throwers must use the correct throwing implement for their age.
  • Athletes in field event (except high jump) will have the duration of the time allocated for their event for completion of their trials.
  • Due to COVID-19 Restriction/regulations the conduct of events may vary from normal competition rules.
  • High Jump bar will increment by 5cm per round with increased height announced to allow athlete to enter competition at their selected height

Timing : Photo finish shall be in use

Check in: Athletes are not required to check in.

Spectators/Visitors/Coaches: must register their attendance by scanning the QR Code or manually completing the attendance register.

Results: will only be available on the ANSW Live Results webpage

Canteen: Coffee van will be onsite and limited packaged food and drinks available from canteen.
