Virtual Cycling High Schools Event 

We are excited to announce the first-ever Virtual Cycling High Schools Event, taking place at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) on October 7, 2023. This event will bring together students from various schools to compete in a virtual racing environment that promises to be both challenging and fun.

The Virtual Cycle Studio has 10 Wahoo Kickr bikes all connected to Zwift, allowing participants to race on virtual routes and track progress in real time.  

We are currently seeking participants for four races, divided into two female and two male age groups: Under 15 and Under 17. There will be 8 places available within each race category. Each race will consist of an age-appropriate  virtual course designed to test the participants' endurance, strength, and strategy. Races will be run from QUT Sport’s Cycle Studio at Gardens Point Campus Queensland University of Technology (QUT) between 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
