QUT Esports Academy League of Legends Coach Expression of Interest
Event information
The QUT Esports Academy aims to provide the opportunity for students to train and compete at the national level for League of Legends in a collegiate environment. The program is designed to equip students with the skills and experience to pursue a career in Esports, whether as a player or support staff, beyond university.
The Academy is made up of three teams: the Division 1 team, Division 2 team and Women’s team.
QUT Esports is currently looking for coaches for each team to assist with training and guiding students throughout each semester.
Responsibilities:

Creating and delivering training plans

Preparing for competitions by developing drafts, organizing scrims etc.

Leading and providing support for a team of 5-7 students

Assisting with social and teambuilding events
This is a casual position of up to 10 hours per week. This role will encompass one to two training sessions per week and an evening competition session. Attendance at regular social, teambuilding, sport psychology or gym sessions may also be required.
About you:

High level experience and understanding of League of Legends and Esports in Australia

Experience coaching Esports or traditional sporting teams

A current Blue Card
