Quadball Australia

About

Quidditch Australia is a not for profit organisation formed in 2011 following the success of the inaugural QUAFL Cup. We are committed to facilitating all quidditch related activities, be they recreational or competitive. Now in our 10th year, the community in Australia is thriving with new teams ever year, various leagues, and new heights of athleticism, including one world championship so far.

What we do?

We host two main events each year; an interstate representative competition where state teams compete for the State Shield; and the AQCC (Australia Quadball Club Championship) our multi-day national championships where club teams come from across the country to compete. There are also regular leagues run by the New South Wales, Victorian, Queensland, Western Australian state bodies, as well as numerous open game and social events.

We also provide a whole host of services including referee and snitch mentorship and certification, event sanctioning, insurance cover for our members, grants for team improvement, as well as various initiatives aimed at growing the sport and improving the experiences of players at all levels.

2020-2025 Strategic Plan

Quidditch Australia is currently undergoing a process of putting together a strategic vision for the next five years with it’s members. If you would like to become actively engaged in this process, please email secretary@quidditchaustralia.org for more information about upcoming strategic forums and online events around the country.
