Bib Numbers will not be given out, and are not required for this event.

There is no call room this year. As per Shield Meet protocols, arrive at your event area well before you start time.

Entries closed at 9.00am on Monday the 3rd of March. 

There are NO LATE ENTRIES.

Australian Athletics Championships information: Under 13 - Under 20  |  Open  |  Qualifying Standards  |  Draft National Timetable

INTERSTATE ATHLETES (email National ID, Full Name, Date of Birth, Events + seed times/distances, Shoes you'll be competing in (U20 & Open only))

The Queensland Athletics Championship is the premier Track and Field event in the state and a key qualification event leading to the Australian Athletics Championships.

Entry fee is $32 per event for base members/interstate athletes, $18 for Gold members/ANQ and $10 for platinum members

There is no qualification standard to compete at these championships, anyone and everyone is welcome as long as they have a Qld Athletics/ANQ membership or membership with another of the Australian state member federations or an international athletics federation. **Please Note**

The Under 13 age group is now open to both 10 (born 2014) and 11 (born 2013) year old athletes to enter, they will compete as Under 13 and use the implements specific for the Under 13 Age Group.  Events available will be 100, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, High Jump (Flop mats only), Long Jump, Discus and Shot Put.  Hammer Throw, Pole Vault and Triple Jump are not national championship events for athletes 12 years and under, 200m Hurdles and 3000m are not National Championships events for athletes 13 years and under.  Athletes must meet minimum age requirements to compete in these events at National level. 

The Under 13 Multi-Class age group is now open to both 10 (born 2013) and 11 (born 2012) year old athletes to enter, they will compete as Under 13 Multi-Class and use the implements specific to their classification for the Under 13 Multi-Class Age Group.  Events available will be 100, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, Long Jump (ambulant only), Discus and Shot Put.

10 & 11 year old athletes are not able to enter any other Age group events.

Athletes/Parents need to be aware that the minimum age for competition at the Australian Track & Field Champions as governed by Athletics Australia remains 12 (born 2013) and as such any athlete born in 2014-2015 will not be eligible to compete at the National Championships.

*Please be aware that athletes are only able to enter two age groups. Requests to enter any other age group to replace their own need to be sent through to info@qldathletics.org.au and will be assessed on a case by case basis.  Athletes are not able to enter both the U15 and U16 Age groups, both U16 and U17 age groups or both U17 and U18 age groups.

Age groups offered at these championships include U13/U14/U15/U16/U17/U18/U20/Open as well as
para age groups U13/U15/U17/U20/Open

There are no refunds for withdrawals except with a medical certificate as per our refund policy.
