The Sydney Marathon is confirmed as the Australian Marathon Championships for 2022 – individual and state/territory teams.

Nominations close 9am Thursday the 8th of September.

All state and territory member associations are invited to send up to six (6) male and six (6) female athletes to contest the 2022 Australian Marathon Championship. The top three athletes from each gender will accumulate points towards a team score, as well as competing for the Australian Marathon Championship title. 

Queensland Athletics will be accepting nominations soon to compete for QLD at this years championship.Queensland Athletics will send a maximum of twelve athletes
