Congratulations to 2024's new Australian Volleyball Academy (AVA) recruits from Queensland - Kayla Cantrill, Benjamin Larsen and Jack Renner!

All three athletes started their pathway in the Volleyball Australia Emerging Talent Program - QLD and progressed into the Elite Development program, before being selected and offered a position at the AVA based at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra.

"The AVA is a key component of Volleyball Australia’s National Development Program and allows athletes to learn and develop in a sport-specific training environment as they look to take the next step in their careers."

Congratulations to Kayla, Ben and Jack, who now join 7 other Queenslanders who have also progressed through the QLD pathways programs to train at the AVA.
