Queensland Association of Quadball

Queensland Association of Quidditch requires each player to adhere to our Code of Conduct.

To be a positive contributor as a player within QAQ you must meet the following requirements with regards to your conduct during any activity held by or under Quidditch Australia, QAQ, or affiliates:

·    Respect the rights, dignity and worth of fellow players, coaches, officials and spectators.
·    Do not act in a manner which could be regarded as sexual harassment, discrimination, bullying or victimisation.
·    Respect the talent, potential, and development of fellow players and competitors.
·    Participate fairly and safely.
·    Be frank and honest with your coach/medical staff concerning illness and injury and your ability to train and play fully.
·    Do not engage in practices (alcohol consumption, drug-taking) that affect sporting performance.
·    Never argue with the referee's decision. Let your speaking captain ask any necessary questions or rule clarifications. Discuss it with them civilly after the match if they say it is okay. Respect their right to not say anything to you.
·    Work equally hard for yourself and your team. Applaud all good play, by your own team and opponents. Shake hands with all of the opposing team at the conclusion of the match.
·    Respect and acknowledge the contribution of those without whom you would not have a game (e.g. scorers, coaches, timekeepers, administrators and referees).
